My most amazing experience was my PS-I in the mighty jungles of Indian Institute of Petroleum ,Dehradun. We were 9 (8 from goa, one from pilani in the sex ratio 7:2) who lived in this forest for 55 days amidst variety of fauna and flora. There were litchi trees decorated with delicious litchis and guards guarding them whole day and nite. Well it was no less than a wild park. Go out for walk in the morning u can easily find deer passing in front of you. Just dare to get out of your room at midnite you can spot a leopard standing in front of your quarter. Not to forget the monkey incident who had barged into our rooms, ate all that we had brought from home during out first week of PS and jumped on our beds and created a whole mess. The forest was so thick that even the phone signals were very weak. Not forgetting to mention those 2km to and 2 km fro walk to guest house for our dinner carrying sticks and torch lights just to scare away wild animals.
Well apart from all that the weekend trips and river rafting at Rishikesh, Ganga Aarti at Haridwar and the hills of Mussorie, everything was quite enchanting. Not to mention the rooms which we were alloted. With leaking roofs and we all seven crumpled to one room. And those diarrhea attacks forced us to make the loo the next room for many of us.
